    WILL CONNECTION APPOINTMENT DATES BE AFFECTED BY COVID-19?

    NBN technicians and staff are humans too, they also have kids that may be staying at home rather than attending school. Therefore it makes sense that there may be delays in NBN connections during the COVID-19 outbreak.

    WITH MANY PEOPLE BEING FORCED TO OR ELECTING TO WORK FROM HOME, HOW WILL THIS AFFECT NBN SERVICES?

    More people at home will likely push up the average download per day across Australia to approximately double normal download rates. Perhaps more.

    The various NBN technologies were not designed for this volume of extended at home high usage pattern therefore you may experience some drop in performance at various times of the day.

Unscheduled Wireless NBN Outage (Investigating)

  • NBN is currently investigating an outage in the Mullumbimby Creek area that is affecting wireless NBN sites in the surrounding area.

    Technicians arrived on site at 9:00am and are currently investigating the cause of the outage.
